How to use the SafetyKit Android SDK
Section titled “How to use the SafetyKit Android SDK”The SafetyKit Android SDK is distributed via a Maven repository at https://us-maven.pkg.dev/safetykit/safetykit-android. To access it, you’ll need an access key from your SafetyKit contact.
These instructions assume that you’re using the newer Kotlin build.gradle.kts format. If you’re using the older Groovy build.gradle format, the exact format will be slightly different. You can reach out to your SafetyKit contact for integration assistance.
Add the following to the dependencies {...} block of your app-level build.gradle.kts (note that the exact version will vary; we’ll tell you exactly what to put here):
implementation("com.safetykit.android", "safetykit-android", "0.1-alpha01")Add the following to your project-level settings.gradle.kts, substituting the access key we gave you for PUT YOUR KEY HERE:
